Deuteronomy 28:6 speaks of a blessing that says, “You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out”. Well, with COVID, there has been no going out, yet the Lord has blessed UCSS in ways we never expected.
One of the ways he has blessed us is why I’m writing to you today. For the past few weeks, we have been working on plans for our first ever Virtual Vision Banquet which we are calling UCSS: A Tale of Transformation. We are coming upon 10 years of ministry, and the story of UCSS is truly one in which God is building the house.
This pandemic could have defeated us, but as the next verse of Deuteronomy 28 says, “The Lord will cause the enemies who rise up against you to be defeated before you. They will march out against you in one direction but flee from you in seven (verse 7). I chose this video for today because it shows first-hand how God uses your support to defeat the enemy in the lives of the families here in Bulike.
Without you, there would be no UCSS story. There would be no kingdom building, and others like Saba would never know God’s unconditional love. While the devil meant this pandemic for evil in hopes to stop the work of UCSS, God has turned it into good. Now, more people than ever can attend and see what it means to be a part of UCSS and the kingdom building, life-changing work in Uganda.
