Is Your Labor out of Love?

With the ongoing effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic, I know that many of you have had unfortunate circumstances with your jobs, know that I am praying for you.

All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence.

Martin Luther King Jr.

Here we are at the beginning of September, a time when America celebrates Labor Day and the hard work of the American people. With the ongoing effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic, I know that many of you have had unfortunate circumstances with your jobs; whether it be reduced hours, working from home, or complete shut downs, know that I’m praying for you, and our faith is joined with yours for strength and vision for overcoming. Our hope and confidence are in Him.

While praying about what to share with you, I was reminded of the scripture from Hebrews 6:10 that says, “For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.” Friend, Bulike and Buluya would be devastated by this pandemic if not for those who have faithfully labored in love and stood by us, ministering to the families with prayers and support.

For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love…

What you see in this video has changed thousands of lives. Not only do the families learn how to become self-sustaining physically, they also see the love of God working through UCSS – because of you – as we unconditionally help them when no one else will. It is through this that opportunities to share the gospel occurs and hearts are changed. When we were dead in our trespasses and sin, Christ died for us; therefore, UCSS is committed to bringing hope to Uganda one village at a time.

You’ll find a copy here of our latest semi-annual report (Above) so that you can see firsthand just what our partners’ labors of love make possible here in one of the darkest places left on this earth. God has not forgotten the families here in Eastern Uganda. I know this because only He could bring hearts together from across continents to labor together to make this ministry what it is today.

It is my prayer that God’s peace, protection, and prosperity be multiplied unto you.

Dr. Ronald
