It’s easy to get distracted today with so many voices calling for our attention, many of which are good and trustworthy. So, I want to thank you for choosing to stand with UCSS, for believing in the vision God put forth for this ministry over a decade ago: to transform Uganda one village at a time. In a world where you could support any number of hardworking missions, I thank you for walking with us through the ups and downs and for praying for God’s favor and our success as we press onward.
With your continued support, we are looking forward to a new year with fresh vision, big plans, and new challenges that we like to call, new opportunities! We are going forward with this scripture as our anchor for the new year:
"Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?" John 11:40
We are believing, and it is my prayer that you will believe with me that UCSS will reach further into the heart of darkness in these remote villages here in Eastern Uganda, that you’ll believewith me that the light of this glorious gospel will continue to awaken souls to the love and goodness of God.
With nearly 100 clean water wells and over 1300 enrolled students, we are seeing lasting transformation. This, along with the thousands receiving medical care, counseling, economic training, and discipleship, God’s favor is, literally, taking UCSS to one village at a time as the healed, the delivered, and set-free people vibrantly experience and spread the good news of God’s love. It’s exciting!
As they are sharing what God is doing with their neighbors, we need you to do the same. In this new year, let’s share this UCSS story with as many as we can.
We’d love to come to your church or small group, your men’s breakfast, or women’s conference, your business fair, or local festival or chamber meeting and have one of our local UCSS Ambassadors share the heart of this ministry.
The doors are opening in these marginalized communities for you to make possible the holistic transformation and sustainable development that will make all the difference.
