Dear Friends,
New Year’s greetings from Uganda! Today I am so thankful for you. We know that it is your love, your support, and your prayers that make UCSS what it is today, and may I tell you that it is a life-transforming, generation-changing, hope- giving blessing to the thousands that God is bringing our way. It would not be possible without you.
We also know that prayer is the key. If we had all the finances available, but God’s presence was not with us, we would miss the mark. That is why this month is designated as a month of prayer here; every day and throughout the night, we are lifting our voices for God’s wisdom and His presence as we strategically plan in every area of ministry for 2024. As Moses told the Lord:
“If Your presence does not go before us, then we will not go." (Exodus 33:15)
There are around 30 Official UCSS Prayer Partners, and I invite you to join us as we journey through 2024 together. An updated prayer manual will be ready in February as we will have specific prayer needs for every day of the month. We believe that when “two of you on earth agree” the Father listens (Matthew 18:19-20). Will you be in agreement with us for More in 2024? More souls, more hope…more transformation?
In closing, I want to share our theme scripture for the new year from John 11:40:
“Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
We are facing many changes in a world of uncertainty, but we are committed to spreading God’s love to these marginalized communities by comprehensively addressing their needs and equipping them for holistic transformation and sustainable development. Can I count on you to join us in prayer?
