When two walk together…
“Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so?” –Amos 3:3
What a great time here in Bulike and Buluya! January 10th, was the first day back to school for all of our students. There is excitement and encouragement in the hearts of families as life in our communities returns to a familiar, and greatly missed, routine.
Today, I ask that you lift up our children, their families, and our teaching staff as they return to freshly cleaned and painted classrooms, carefully manicured school grounds, and excellent lessons prepared by teachers whose hearts are dedicated to the youth of Bulike and Buluya. These teachers and students have worked hard to keep up these past two years, and they are ready to work even harder to excel in 2022.
We are Teaching the Future Leaders
Our youth are our future, and whether you sponsor a UCSS student, support our water wells, medical ministry, or agriculture … whether you stand with our women’s empowerment, economic development, or evangelism … you are making the future possible and bringing hope to the people here in Uganda. I can’t thank you enough or begin to tell you how humbled I am that you would choose to stand with UCSS in this hour.
In closing, and upon reflecting on Amos 3:3, thank you for walking with me and helping build the kingdom and family of God here in Bulike and Buluya; thank you for agreeing with me for the continuing transformation of Uganda, one village at a time. Greater things are yet to happen, and I am so glad that you are here with your prayers and support. Happy New Year, and I hope to hear from you soon as I plan a trip to the States in February. Meetings are already being scheduled.
May the grace of our God and Savior abound toward you richly, my friend.
