Children are the worlds most valuable resource and its best hope for the future.

Adversity is defined by merriam-webster.com as, a state or instance of serious or continued difficulty or misfortune. Well, I am thankful for the truth of God’s word that says, A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.
It has been difficult enough that our schools are closed, our students live in remote areas with no internet, and our teachers struggle daily with how to get the expensive copies of materials to them. BUT THEN…that brother born for adversity stands up.
We just recently asked for your support towards our incredible teachers who press forward in the face of this continued difficulty. Already a generous donor provided for the purchase of one of the five motorbikes needed for our teachers. The joy on her face tells the story. Our God is Jehovah-Jireh, our provider. And, we are so thankful that he has provided UCSS with friends who stand with us and love at all times.
There’s a generation being raised up here who are the hope of this community
We are amazed every day at how God’s spirit is moving during this COVID season, seeing his hand on the teachers as they go out, and seeing the hope in the community as they take ownership of their lives. This would not be possible without you, and because of you, minds are being transformed, and hope is alive and well in Bulike & Buluya. This video I’m sharing with you shows the life-changing tenacity that, a few years ago, was unthinkable in the face of endless poverty and hopelessness.
There’s a generation being raised up here who are the hope of this community, even our nation. These little ones pictured here with smiles on their faces and papers in their hands – they are the face of hope. UCSS is setting a standard and changing Uganda one village at a time with the unconditional love of God. You are making this possible. I’m humbled and the words do not come to express the depth of my thanks for your partnership in this great commission.
