This summer, remember the things your eyes have seen.
Dear Friends,
We started off 2022 looking back at what UCSS has been doing during our first decade – what worked, what’s still working, what did not work, and how we can improve. Some may instantly think when reading this opening sentence that we’re not supposed to look back; even Paul said, forget what is behind and press on…
But! We are also admonished to “consider what was written in earlier times….” to “not forget the things which your eyes have seen…” to “Remember the days of old, and consider the years…” and finally, “these things happened as examples…” (Ro. 15:4, Dt. 4:9, Dt. 32:7, 1 Cor. 10:6). Sometimes we need to look back to learn how to look forward.
That is why, today, I want you to hear from Samuel Mbulamukunji, Programs Manager here in Bulike.
Just as Jesus told the Jewish leaders who questioned why He did these miracles on the Sabbath, “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working” (John 5:17), we want you to know that we are also working for the families of Bulike and Buluya thanks to you.

We continue to look for ways to improve life in the villages that still do not have access to fresh water, who still have fields uncultivated and no way to gain skills without our help. We continue to move from house to house and village to village with the good news of salvation and hope in Jesus. We have planned more crusades, vacation Bible schools, Bible studies, and church plants. There are more wells to dig, medical clinics to hold, and economic groups to train. There is still much work to be done.
In closing, I will be honest in saying, we need your help more than ever during the summer months, and I come to you my friend, my partner and prayer warrior, asking that we agree together for God’s wisdom and favor as we go forward with the Father’s work. We truly cannot do this without you. If you feel God is leading you to help us this summer, please consider becoming a UCSS Lifer with a monthly donation of any amount. This is our greatest need at this time. Thank you for reading this today, and thank you for being here. God’s continued blessings.
Your Brother in Christ,
Ronald
