I want to introduce you to the people who have hope because of you.
Dear Friends, As I prayed about what to share with you in this week’s update, I said to the Lord, “Lord, it’s like I always end up saying the same thing…” Then, He directed me to what Peter said in his second letter about Paul:
“He writes this way in all his letters, speaking in them about such matters…”(2 Peter 3:16) Paul’s motus operandi, his MO, was unmistakable. He had one vision in mind, and he shared it wherever he went. So, now I don’t feel so bad coming to you once again, thanking you again for helping UCSS be His hands and feet to the families of Uganda, letting you know that without you we would not be here, and assuring you that God has brought us to this place in history that we might continue writing His-story in Bulike, Buluya, and surrounding communities. This is, surely, my MO.
What is the UCSS vision? It is to see holistically transformed and self-sustaining model communities, vibrantly experiencing and spreading God’s love. With your help we are bringing hope to the hopeless, and they are vibrantly experiencing God’s love and, in turn, spreading it to others.
That is why I want to remind you that our Live Streamed Vision Banquet: A Journey of Hope is only two weeks away! You need to get your free ticket here, invite some friends over for a watch party, and join me at 6:00 PM CDT on October 13, 2022. I can’t wait to take you to the villages so you can see and hear what your involvement with UCSS is doing. Can I count on you to be there?
I will leave you with the closing from the same scripture above: “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen” (2 Pt. 3:18).
Serving with You,
Ronald…
