The women of Bulike are making a difference and changing their future!
Dear Friend,
For generations poverty marked the women of Bulike, Uganda, and hopelessness hung over them like a cloud that rained despair upon their hearts. There was no hope or nowhere to turn.
But God!
When UCSS came to Sylvia’s village (Click on Sylvia’s Story), we brought hope in the form of life-changing training and education, in the form of fresh water and medical care, and the people wanted to know more.
It was the women and children who were suffering the most, and when they saw the unconditional love of God being offered to them, the change was instant and overwhelming. Now, women who were once bound by oppressing traditions with no means of help or support, are waking each day, eager to do whatever they can to change the future for themselves and their children.
Look what you’ve helped them do! It is said that if you educate a man, you educate a man, but if you educate a woman, you educate a generation. I cannot tell you the difference your prayers and support are making in the lives of the women of Bulike and Buluya. With your help they have truly overcome so much, and we are so proud of them. I pray that you will see the impact your involvement with UCSS is making every day. Without you, none of this would be possible.
