When Saying “Thank You” Is Not enough

As we enter this month of thanksgiving, I was asking the Lord for something special to share with you, something that reflected His heart as well as mine because sometimes saying “thank you” doesn’t seem like enough. This is the scripture that came to my mind:

“I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you (my UCSS friends and partners) – I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus” (Phil. 1:3-6).

I do not believe it is a coincidence that our paths have crossed, for God is the builder of this house. Yes, we make plans, but it is the Lord who “directs and establishes our steps” (Pr. 16:9); I thank God therefore, that he has placed you here to walk this kingdom journey with me. Your prayers and support make possible, stories like Stella’s and Eunice’s that you’ll hear about in this video.

In closing, as we are about to end the first full decade of ministry as Uganda Counseling and Support Services, it is my prayer that you will go with me into the next decade, so that together we can continue this good work to completion “until the day of Christ Jesus”. May the blessings of the Lord overtake you as the scripture declares.

In His Name,

Ronald
