Evangelism General Updates UCSS Vision Summit

What’s taking so long?

"For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay."
Habakuk 2:3

Dear Friends,

It is my joy to share with you during this week’s email update something that has been on our hearts for some time, a vision that we are waiting for, and it was also the heart of our recent Fall Vision Summit. We have found in our 12 years of ministry to the families of Bulike and Buluya, that, when the time is right, the vision comes together, and God is glorified. We have also found that when we share and commit whatever we do to the Lord, He establishes our plans (Proverbs 16:3).

When we saw there was no plan for the people in Bulike and surrounding villages, that they were dying because there were no fresh water sources, when we saw women and children looking for food in overgrown fields, and when we saw young girls marrying and having babies as young as 12 because there was no hope for a future, no reason for a tomorrow – a vision was born – a vision that would not have been possible without friends like you reading this email. We knew it was then, and still is the heart of God to:

..spread God’s love to marginalized communities by comprehensively addressing their needs and equipping them for holistic transformation and sustainable development...

I invite you to watch this excerpt from the UCSS Vision Summit. The picture of UCSS tells a unique story; every life touched by the ministry you make possible is a testimony of the greatness of God. Our vision going forward is to ensure that every student can gain skills and education, especially those who feel they are too old and that their chance for change is over. Our vision is Vocational Training as part of the UCSS Educational Ministry.

Picture yourself being a part of transforming a generation: helping train up farmers, tailors, well technicians, craft makers, teachers, and preachers of the gospel of the good news of Jesus Christ. How will you partner with us today? Your participation may be the catalyst for the next life-changing story in the UCSS Album of Transformation.

May God Richly Bless You,

Ronah…
