A Month of Prayer with UCSS

February marks our annual month of prayer! We are blessed and thankful to have you interceding along with us this month.

PRAYER POINTS FOR UCSS

  1. Unity in all departments and teams
  2. Positioning of ourselves physically and spiritually according to our callings and gifting’s
  3. Provision for the ministry not to minister in lack and to the ministers as a whole
  4. Need to empower leaders for sustainability
  5. Strengthening of UCSS  core values of being Christ centered: humility, servanthood, integrity, good stewardship.
  6. Ability to fulfill the vision and mission for UCSS
  7. Improved time management
  8. Innovativeness and creativity 
  9. Human resource capability and competence as we organize workshops and refresher courses for staff and volunteers

Department Specific Prayer Points

Evangelism

  • Great move of God in the crusades, film shows, door to door etc.
  • Strengthening discipleship
  • Strengthening of children and youth ministry
  • Strengthening of the marriage ministry
  • Church land & church plant
  • Sound equipment for churches and outreaches
  • Purchase of land and setup of three churches
  • Construction of baptism place

Education

  • Holistic teaching and learning at our schools
  • Increased parent involvement in school activities
  • Talent and skills development in schools
  • Easy flow within the licencing program of the school.
  • Construction of a dormitory at primary school
  • Construction of teachers’ quarters at the primary school
  • Construction resource centre at primary school
  • Purchase of land at secondary school

Agriculture

  • Clinic tricycle ambulance
  • Equipment for the clinic (In patient facilities)

Counseling

  • Increased participation of MHFs in everyday counseling
  • Efficiency and effectiveness of our mills  resulting in sustainability
  • Reliable means of transport to aid counseling in distant places
  • Reduction in the cases of domestic violence, child abuse, and duicidal tendencies

Water Well Drilling

  • Irrigation & fish pond
  • Drilling of 30 water wells
  • Camping tent for water well drillers
  • More drilling equipment
  • Strengthening of Bible studies at the water wells

Resource Mobilization

  • Increase streams of income flow
  • Increase in UCSS partners and donors
  • Open our eyes to how we can access God’s resources

Committee and Community Engagement

  • Community members to have a good attitude
  • Holistic transformation, empowerment, and sustainability to our board members, ministry teams, donors, partners and the people we are ministering to
