Dear Friends,
What a wonderful time I had with so many of you in the States these past two months! Now, as we end this year and celebrate the One who makes men free, and as we turn our hearts to giving in that same spirit, it is my prayer that you will remember to put UCSS “under your tree” as you check off your Christmas list.
You will see in the video how life-changing your gifts are. Hellen is only one example. Your gifts are not taken lightly, tossed aside, or stored away on a shelf; they are literally put on display in the lives of those who are forever impacted by them.
By the time you read this, I will be back home in Uganda, and I just want to thank everyone who opened their hearts, homes, and, churches to me. In reality, we all know that it was not to me that you opened your hearts and doors; it was to Lord, himself, in your obedience to see his kingdom established and the works of the devil exposed and defeated in the lives of those held captive for so long. I’m encouraged because I know that you, my friends and partners, believe this as well:
“… It is no longer [we] who live, but Christ who lives in [us].And the life [we] now live in the flesh[we] live by faith in the Son of God, who loved [us] and gave himself for [us].”
For this reason, I will continue to give myself, on your behalf, to serve the families in Uganda. What a mighty God we serve!
The following areas are our greatest needs:
- Education
- Evangelism Outreach
- Economic & Agriculture Development
- Clean Water Projects
- Medical Care
- Counseling
As you pray about how to bless UCSS this Christmas season, let me know by replying to this email which one of these areas is dearest to your heart, and I will share specific needs in each.
In closing, thank you for reading this lengthy email. I hope to hear from you this week, but know also that it is my prayer above all things that you know him as Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace this Christmas. Thank you for helping UCSS by giving Jesus to the families here in Eastern Uganda.
Ronald…
