Dear Friends,
I am always glad to have spent time in the States, but I am equally as glad to be back home in Uganda where I can tell the families of the kindness of their friends in the United States: the ones who are helping transform their lives and bring hope for their future. I’m especially excited to share with you our End of Year Goals: to get 50 new student sponsors. Our team in the U.S. is prepared and ready to make this happen with your help. This giving Tuesday we are looking for 50 sponsors for 50 students in Uganda. The need is great, but we have seen you all rise to the occasion again and again. Sponsoring a student empowers their future through a holistic education including clean water, meals during school and the tools they need to succeed.
3 Ways You Can Get Involved on December 3rd
#1. Sponsor a student for $25 a month
#2. Share our emails, social media posts and page with family and friends
#3. Post an “unselfie” telling your friends why you support us using #ucss and the hashtags below (An unselfie is just like a selfie, but with a generous twist. Take a photo of yourself holding a sign that tells your followers who you’re supporting for #GivingTuesday and why.)
