These three things: –faith, hope, and love –
Dear Friends,
These three things, faith, hope, and love, I can honestly say are the bedrock upon which UCSS is built. Faith makes it all possible, hope leads us forward, and love sustains us. I want to end this month on these three unshakable truths, and it is my prayer that this will also strengthen you in these difficult days.
Faith Is.
Faith, being the substance of all that we hope for as a ministry, is also the evidence of what we do not yet see. We know that the Father continues to bring precious souls to us, so we also know that he has a plan even though we do not see it as clearly as we would like. Thank you for standing in faith with us!
Hope Does.
It is hope that gives us strength to work with what we have, knowing that this hope will not disappoint because, according to Philippians 1:6, God, who has begun this good work [in UCSS] will bring it to completion. Thank you for standing in hope with us!
Love Never Fails.
We confidently know and rely on the unconditional love God has for us, a love that has no fear because it is a perfect love that, according to 1 John 4:18, drives out all fear. Thank you for your steadfast love for UCSS!
In closing, I wanted to share this video of our students with you. Because of the love they have seen in operation through your kindness, they have hope. And, faith which works through this same love has been shed abroad in their hearts unto eternal life.
I will leave you with this scripture: Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance (1 Cor. 13:7).
Stay strong my brothers and sisters. Love never fails.
