With a Look at UCSS Leadership in Uganda
Dear Friends,
I am excited to write to you this week to let you know how thankful we are to you for standing with the ministry of Uganda Counseling and Support Services. Whether it is your prayers or financial support, we know that we could not do this work without you. We are in a month of thanksgiving and we are most grateful for your friendship. Knowing that you are here gives us hope and confidence to plan for the future.
Regarding the future, as Daniel shares in this video, the impact UCSS is having is now reaching beyond Bulike and Buluya. The team you have helped make possible in Uganda is working together to make sure the vision to transform villages with the gospel of Jesus Christ continues. You have made it possible for us to train men and women who, before UCSS, had no hope, no way to rise above the poverty, but having been transformed themselves – having been given a chance to become who God created them to be – they are now working with us to spread this hope, leading others to the love of God.
I hope that you see this compounding effect and how much your friendship makes possible. With your help we are able to, not just dig a well in a community and leave, but we are able to train the community to take care of and maintain their own wells.We are not just planting a church and moving on; we are training pastors right there in the community to shepherd the people in the things of God.
In closing, I send you my heartfelt thanks, and as we collectively give thanks around the world during this month, may your heart also overflow with praise for the goodness of God. We praise Him for you for letting His love flow through you to the families here in Uganda. As we wrap up a year, especially after a season of COVID, we rejoice over all that God has done. I look forward to what the future holds for this ministry, and I am glad that you are here to see it with me.
