April 25th is World Malaria Day. It came into being as a unified effort to eradicate Malaria, and since 2001 African governments have observed this day to continually evaluate the success of the goals to control and/or eliminate the disease and the deaths caused by it.
Great strides have been made worldwide, and thanks to you with your support, your prayers, and your visits here, lives are saved daily from this sickness in Bulike & Buluya. May our hearts be encouraged during this current pandemic, that a cure for this virus will also be found.
We also know that He who began a good work here in Bulike has not left us, and those whose hearts are knit together in this calling to transform Uganda one village at a time have not left us either. Furthermore, we know that this current pandemic will pass as well, and we will come out on the other side with you. As we pray for each other, please remember the thousands that are cut off from help, and prayerfully consider how the Lord would have you stand with UCSS during this time. May you rest in the shadow of the Almighty until this indignation be past.
