You have been such a gift to UCSS in this season, and all year long.

December greetings my friend! Whether here in the warm weather of Uganda or somewhere in the States where it may be cold, we’re all beginning to hear the phrase, Jesus is the reason for the season! Over the past few weeks, I have spent much time in the villages doing crusades, mass weddings, community and leadership meetings, and this week something stood out as we reflected over the past year.
Every story, every testimony, every effort that we reviewed was centered around Christ! And, today, while preparing this update, I kept hearing in my heart: Jesus is the Reason for this UCSS Season! For over a decade now, you’ve made it possible for us to continue bringing people to the knowledge of Christ through our water wells, through our schools, clinics, farms, and as you see in these pictures, through our economic groups. Christ is front and center. He is first. He is the reason for this season of transformation.
Thank you for making this possible. Bulike and Buluya are now beacons of hope among the villages here. With your help we’ve trained leaders, preachers, teachers, entrepreneurs, farmers, medical workers, and now there is hope to dream and become who God created us to be.
This Christmas season, it is my prayer that you will agree that are good reasons to help us end this year strong financially, that we might walk into 2023 able to fulfill the plans that we know God has given us, plans to “…destroy the works of devil” in the lives of the families here in Eastern Uganda, which as 1 John says is the reason Christ came.
Because of this, the men, women, and children being saved and changed by the Lord Jesus Christ are rising up and making a difference where they are. They are now faith-filled, UCSS trained, and ready to transform Uganda one village at a time. Thank you for being here and for going with me into the next UCSS season. May God’s best be yours this Christmas.
