It is easy to get impatient when we do not see the results of our prayers or the works of our hands prosper right away, or at least within a “reasonable” amount of time. We must remember, however, that just like the seed that is planted in the ground and doesn’t spring up overnight because a process is taking place below the surface, so it is with God’s work in his people.
As you will see in this video from UCSS Board Member, Michael Blank who recently returned from a visit to Uganda, the seeds of change in Bulike and Buluya have been slow. Yet, because of your support and prayers, the hearts of the people are being rooted and grounded in the love and knowledge of God; your support provides UCSS the ability to preach and teach the people of His unconditional love; your prayers water the work that is being done, and friends, God is providing the growth.
As you read this email, I will have just arrived in the U.S., and I can’t wait to share with you about the growth that has taken place in the communities of Bulike and Buluya. The fruit of self-sustainability is springing up all around, causing neighboring villages to come and see (which means they get introduced to the gospel and a new hope in Jesus Christ) and government entities are taking note and offering praise for the work that you are making possible.
May God’s grace overflow and his goodness abound toward you.
Your Brother in Christ,
If God is moving you to support this ministry, there are three things you can do now:
- Make a donation
- Request to have me speak to your church or group
- Ask how you can get involved.
Thank you for all of your prayers and support!
