Did you know that the very first job, created by God himself, was that of a gardener? He could have created the job complete, beautiful, and self-sustaining, but He didn’t. He got it started and then turned the garden over to Adam saying, “…work it and take care of it” (Gen. 2:15). No doubt He taught Adam the process then came by every evening to talk about the day’s work, leaving Adam with a sense of pride, accomplishment, and purpose.
I am so happy to share with you, as you will see in this video, this same sense of pride and accomplishment being experienced by the young people in Bulike and Buluya who, because of your prayers and support, now realize that they have a purpose: a future of hope because of the knowledge and opportunity provided with the help of UCSS.
Only a short time ago, Bulike and Buluya were without form and void of hope: the land overgrown and idle, the people, sad and full of fear. Thanks to you, our friends and partners, now gardens are being planted, and the men, women, and children of Bulike and Buluya are working them and taking care of them just as the Father would have it.
My heart if full, and I thank God daily for you and what you are helping make possible. Our children are breaking free of the cycle of poverty and fear, and truly, we are changing Uganda one village at a time. Help us keep this cycle going by joining us with your monthly gift of any amount and with your daily intercessory prayers.
If God is moving you to support this ministry, there are three things you can do now:
- Make a donation
- Request to have me speak to your church or group
- Ask how you can get involved.
Thank you for all of your prayers and support!
