June Update

The month of June ended on a positive note. Every single day, the church is growing spiritually. The children’s church was started and classes are held every Friday, as well as a conventional service on Sunday. The children are gaining confidence to express themselves freely, which was unheard of in Bulike. Most of the children suffered from low self-esteem and timidity previously.  As, as a result of the teaching they are receiving, one boy, for example, has begun to witness for Jesus in the community, which has left many people amazed. We bless God for this wonderful transformation in the children. Under social services program, the school pupils are warming up for their end of term exams and all is well. The 5 Water wells are also in good condition. The Mobile clinics ran well as usual, except that sometimes we did not have enough medicine to treat all cases thoroughly due to budget restraints. However, all the people we have treated are recovering well. The Comprehensive medical checkup for the month of June was another success, and we are grateful to God for making it all possible. Concerning the Economic groups, we interacted with government officials, they have given us technical advice and they are surveying the land to direct us on what crops to grow. Also, the maize planted in the last season is almost ready for harvesting.
