UCSS: Transforming Uganda Together

“I can do all things through Him who strengthens me…” Philippians 4:13

Dear Friends,
As we step into this bright new year, we invite you to join us in reflecting on the incredible strides we’ve made together in ministry, thanks to your unwavering support and dedication. January was filled with inspiring moments of fasting and prayer, as well as fruitful meetings and trainings that have set the stage for our students’ return to school, broadening our medical mission, and reaching families at their spiritual, social, and economic needs.

While we celebrate our achievements, we also recognize the journey ahead and the distance yet to cover. This year, our goal is to welcome 50 new monthly partners in February, 50 new medical partners in March, and 50 agricultural partners in April. That would be 150 UCSS Lifers, believing, praying, and standing with us monthly, impacting thousands of lives in 2025.

We believe that with your help, we can continue to create a ripple effect of positive change in the communities we serve. Your involvement makes a profound difference, impacting lives and fostering hope. So, lets embark on this exciting adventure together. Watch our Winter Video Update above and see firsthand the remarkable work God is doing and the plans we have for 2025!
God’s continued blessings,
Ronald…

A message from Dr. Ronald, January 10 – Prayers for those affected by the snowstorm and fires…
Greetings dear friend. Upon hearing of the winter storms moving across the U.S. and fires in the West, I wanted to let you know that my prayers are with you for your safety and God’s grace to abound. Our God truly is the master of the wind, and I agree with you for a change in these weather patterns. I would encourage you to fear not, because our God reigns.
As I prayed for this situation, I was reminded of the scripture from Isaiah 55:10-11 which says, “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth and making it bear and sprout, and furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so will my word be which goes froth from My mouth; it will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.”
We always have the assurance of God’s word that He works all things together for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). I know that God has caused our paths to cross for His glory and His kingdom purposes. Thank you for being a friend to me and this ministry and know that we are praying for you.
May the peace of God which passes all understanding keep your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and may you be safe in the strong tower of His name. God’s continued blessings for you and your family.
December Greetings from Dr. Ronald, December 27…

As we embrace the spirit of December, I want to take a moment to reflect on what truly makes this holiday season bright. It’s the love and care we share with one another, even across the continents, that brings the spirit of Christmas to life. For many families in Uganda, this means having access to clean water to drink, nutritious food to eat, and essential medical care to stay healthy. All of this is made possible because of your unwavering support and generosity.

Thank you for being a beacon of hope for the families we serve. Your contributions have transformed lives, filling hearts with optimism and the promise of a brighter future. We have seen firsthand how your kindness has created ripples of change in our community, bringing smiles to faces that once knew only hardship. These children represent the hope you are making possible.
A Christmas Message from Dr. Ronald, December 17 – Christmas Vibes with Joan Nakayenga, Student Coordinator, Uganda...
My friend, this holiday season, the spirit of Christmas shines brighter than ever at UCSS! With heartfelt gratitude, we celebrate our UCSS students: It is a joyful thing to watch our Kindergarteners (Top Class) graduate to Primary One – approximately 120 children in total. We also celebrate our Cornerstone Christian Community Vocational students for the impressive work in crafting 1,350 cement blocks which will support local construction efforts, and we applaud our primary students for their excellent Christmas performances (you will see in the video above). ‘Tis the season, indeed!
To say our hearts are full is an understatement. Read more here…

November 2024: Benefit Auction & Thanksgiving. Thanks to all who participated. What a blessing!
Praise God my friend! While praying about what to share this week, I thought about this season of gratitude, and I hope you will embrace it with me. We have so much to be thankful for! For one thing, your incredible support of the women of Uganda has brought them so far from where they began. They are crafting beautiful handmade quilts and necklaces that not only showcase their extraordinary talent but also empower families to thrive and become self-sufficient. Your contributions have enabled hope to blossom in Uganda, and for that, we extend our heartfelt thanks! Read more here!
