A Day of Remembering

Happy Memorial Day, Dear Friends.

Across the United States, I know many are taking time to remember those who fought and died for their freedom, as well as to remember loved ones who have passed. I want you to know that my prayers and thoughts are with you all today, and I, too, am taking this time to reflect on all those who mean so much to me and this ministry.

The scripture agrees that we should “…take care lest we forget…” (Dt. 6:12). He doesn’t want us to forget how He saved us or forget how His word strengthens us. He doesn’t want us to forget His mighty works among us. UCSS, because of you, is one of His mighty works!

So, on this day I want you to know that all of your donations, no matter how small or how large – all of your prayers and acts of kindness towards me, my family, and this ministry – have not been forgotten nor have they gone unnoticed or unappreciated. I am mindful everyday of the sacrifice that you have made of your time and resources, and I am thankful.

May the Lord’s grace abound to you richly, and may His face continually shine upon you and give you peace. I hope to see many of you during my current visit to the States: May 27 – June 10, 2021. *
