I could not let this day of honor go by without appreciating the nurturing, watchful heart of the ladies we call “Mom". I want you to see this video from some time ago that was never shared, and I believe that was because it was needed for such a time as this. It highlights just what you have done to help those who were small in the eyes of the communities here in Eastern Uganda, those who felt hopeless with no way out. All they needed was a little encouragement and to know that the God of heaven had heard the cry of their hearts as evidenced by so many of you standing with them.
This week we are spotlighting our Women’s Empowerment Ministry and Economic Development Department. We are looking for those who feel led to sponsor this ministry, thereby making it possible to have funds for training, materials, equipment, or whatever is needed to keep economic development for all moving forward.
As you enjoy this special day with your mothers, grandmothers, great grandmothers, and all the children, please know that we are thanking God for you and are looking forward to many more celebrations between us.
