I am very happy to be writing today, to honor all the mothers who love and pray, not only for their own children and families but also for the children and families here in Eastern Uganda. You have taken those whom you’ve never met into your hearts and under your spiritual wings. May you be doubly blessed this Mother’s Day!
The video I’ve included today is from the young girls in our school who are thankful for the women (and men) who have gone the extra mile to help them become the women (and men) God created them to be. Even the Apostle Paul recognized that Timothy was the man he was because of the mother and grandmother in his life. What a legacy.
So, may this Mother’s Day be blessed of the Lord for you. May your genuine faith continue to influence and shape all those whom God leads across you path, whether your own family, a neighbor, or that stranger who is made to feel special by your kindness. Thank you for being a part of the UCSS family, for loving us and standing with us by your prayers and support.
