Dear Friends.
As I prepare to go back to Uganda, I want to thank all of you who have sent condolences to Ronah and our family with the loss of my father-in-law, Elly Sendi. It was hard not being there and a challenging time for the family, but your outpouring of love has brought comfort and encouragement. Thank you for being a friend, loving us at all times.
This February trip to the United States has been a blessing, indeed. I will return home with new vision, new hope, and renewed strength: strength that comes from knowing there are friends like you praying for us daily and standing with us through thick and thin. If you haven’t already, please sign up as an Official UCSS Prayer Partner as our February month of prayer comes to a close. Details are in the link below, and there can never be too many of us agreeing in prayer.
I want to leave you this thought: Acts 13:47 says,
“For this is what the Lord has commanded us: ‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’”
When you pray for UCSS, or sponsor a student or a medical or well technician … when you support women empowerment or agriculture development … when you provide Bibles, shoes, motorcycles, dorms, homes…. You are being that light, and you have brought salvation to Bulike and Buluya – and we are not stopping here.
We, with your help, are transforming Uganda one village at a time! So, be in prayer with us! Be expecting with us! And, be watching for new updates and opportunities to walk with us on this kingdom building journey. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all, and may His blessings pursue you and overtake you as you walk by faith in all His ways.
