The first part of Romans 5 tells us that, when we run into problems, we need to keep on rejoicing because it is those problems that help us build endurance which, in turn, strengthens our character and ultimately builds this confident hope that Paul says will not disappoint.

Would you stop today and pray with me? Father, we pray that our women, our mothers, and our daughters will grow in the knowledge of God as they rise up and lead a generation in the freedom of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We pray that you will bless the work of their hands and that their arms will be strong for the task. We pray, Father, that their trading will be profitable and their lamps will not go out at night. May their children rise and call them blessed as our women faithfully watch over their households. Amen.
